Over the last few years, I’ve transitioned from the primary role of Creative Director and editorial art director, to something new but related in the visual field: project management for creative services. Though my previous role contained a fair amount of de-facto project management, what got me interested in the more formal aspects of the discipline was the chance to manage varied projects across new functional areas. Subsequent to leaving the editorial world, I began consulting in this area while completing foundation coursework through San Francisco State’s Project Management certificate program. Currently, I’m handling a range of projects and engagements, covering the studio, agency, and publishing environments.
